What you’ll need:
9 cups corn or rice Chex cereal
1 package chocolate chips or your choice (I prefer milk chocolate)
1/2 cup Sun butter
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar (may need more or less)
Directions: Put the chocolate chips into a large microwave safe bowl and microwave for 60 seconds. Stir, then microwave for 20 second intervals until melted. Be careful not to burn! Add Sun butter to the chocolate ships and stir under combined and smooth. Pour Chex cereal into the bowl and stir under all of the cereal is covered (you may break some pieces of cereal in the process, that’s totally okay). Transfer the mixture into 2 large zip-lock bags. Pour half of the sugar into each bag, then seal the bags and shake it like a polaroid picture.. HA – JK shake until all cereal is covered. and TA-DA! Eat some while it’s hot (my favorite) and then put into a container. Placing in the fridge is optional.
I Really hope that this recipe helps some of you out there with allergies! I grew into a peanut allergy so it’s pretty sad going from the peanut butter life to the non peanut butter life, but this stuff is GOOD! My peanut-loving friends even enjoyed. Share with me if you end up making it!
