Hey beauties! A few weeks ago on my Instagram stories I asked what events ya’ll have coming up that you need help styling outfits for. The most popular replies were: Bridal events (as the bride), baby/bridal showers, Bachelorette/birthday parties, weddings, festivals/concerts and weekend trips. Today I’m covering everything except festivals because that will come later – wink, wink.
In this post I rounded up my favorite dresses that I think you can easily style for each of these occasions. I for sure have a passion for dresses so I had so much fun with this one! I really hope it helps and I will be sure to include a list of my discount codes below so if you find something you love, you can get some $$ off. Also – thanks in advance for using my links. Ya’ll are the best and I hope you enjoy!

No, I’m not a bride or future bride lol but I know a ton of you are! I rounded up some super cute white dresses that you can style for your engagement party, bridal shower, Bachelorette party, etc. Pair the dress with a pair of espadrilles or wedges for a shower, maybe some sandals if it’s a more relaxed environment or style it with heels for a night out with your girls!
Ya girl has 12 weddings with year.. yes 12! I’m like that chick who’s always invited to weddings but never has her own.. lol totally kidding but since I have so many weddings coming up, i’m about to be a pro at picking wedding guest dresses for all seasons. Of course each wedding’s vibe will vary, some you attend may be in a barn or backyard and others may be somewhere super fancy like a museum. I selected some dresses that can be dressed up or down depending on how you style them. For example, Pair a dress with pointed toe heels, nice jewelry such a diamonds and a clutch for a fancier wedding. Take the same dress and throw on a pair of espadrilles, a satchel and maybe even a nice denim jacket and you’re perfect for something more casual too. Another example, the dress I’m wearing in the photos is linked below and I love it so so much, highly recommend! But anyways, I can wear it as I styled it in the photo for a wedding, or pair it with white chunky sneakers and a denim jacket for day time. It really is all about how you style an item!
So I feel like these dresses fall into the category of bridal shower, baby shower, maybe even something to style Easter?! When picking a dress for those occasions, you want to be appropriate, classy and put together. It’s a happy celebration so you should wear something bright and pleasing to look at. My go-to for showers is usually a maxi dress and a denim jacket because maxi dresses are almost always comfortable and allow you to eat a lot if you get the right shape – haha! You can never go wrong with a dress and a nice denim jacket, I swear by it.
I have gotten so many of you asking what the heck to wear for your girls weekend away or maybe even a weekend planned with your significant other. I’m headed to Austin next week with some of my blogger friends so I will be much more insightful on this topic after that. I plan on rounding up what I wear when I get back but for now, here’s a good idea.. So I am just a huge fan of dresses. They’re comfortable, breezy, light to pack and flattering. Usually if I’m traveling and we have plans to explore during the day or day drink, I always throw on a dress. Next depending on the weather, style it with your favorite jacket. This can be a denim jacket (my favorite option) or really any jacket you want that’s casual and goes with your dress. Lastly, throw on some comfortable shoes! After all, you’ll be exploring you don’t want your feet to hurt. Since the sneaker + dress trend is so in right now I highly recommend that. If your not into it however, go with a comfortable sandal or boot.
Night’s out! This one is for my brides who don’t want to wear white to their bachelorette party or for the friends with the bride. I feel like everyone has a different idea of “night out” looks. For example, I haven’t worn a skin tight shorter dress since college and I don’t plan to however, some girls no matter the age can pull them off and look so good! I really tried to mix in casual night out looks and more dressy ones for you guys. Again, almost any of the dresses from above can be style for a night out. I plan on wearing the dress in the photo for a night out in Austin with black heels and a leather jacket.
