Who’s ready to bring in 2019 with some sparkle? ME ME ME! Any holiday that encourages full sequin dresses is my kinda holiday. There’s also so much creativity you can put into New Year’s looks, which is so fun! Go all out with a sparkly jumpsuit or keep it more on the simple side with an all black look, just add a simple pop of color in your accessories and you’ll be good to go!

This year, I’ve partnered up with Yandy.com to help get you New Years Eve ready. After browsing their website for some holiday inspiration, I found that they are have super cute dresses and bodysuits. Coincidence.. both of these are my favorites to style for a night out!

Let’s start with dresses. My go-to for a New Years Eve night out is something mini, black and sparkly. What can I say, I have a type. I stumbled upon this beauty of a dress (see below) and found it not only comes in black, but also comes in 3 other colors! Bonus point that the model had curves so I was actually able to see how it may look on me. I was sold with the black one.

Some reasons why I love this dress so much. Um first off, it’s the next best option to wearing a disco ball and perfect for my KiraKira+ app (lol – I wish I was kidding but this thought really went through my head) When I got to actually try it on, I loved it even more. It’s tight so keep that in mind when ordering but if you get the correct size it’s the perfect amount of tight – really keeps everything in if you know what I mean. I also love that the straps are adjustable! I was not blessed in the chest area, so it’s nice to be able to tailor the top to your size. Overall, obsessed with this dress though I will say it is on the shorter side, so if you have a booty (like myself) order a size up or style it with tights. I am 5’3, I ordered a size medium and with ‘kelclight20’ you can get this dress for only 23! WHAT!?  

Like I mentioned, it was a little short for my liking so I styled it with these adorable heart tights and a pair of black velvet strappy heels. BTW I love this trend – very chic! Lastly, I threw on some bold sparkly statement earring to give the look a little something extra.

Okay, next let’s chat bodysuits. I love, love, LOVE bodysuits because not only are they comfortable, but they suck ya in – so perfect for a night of dancing, eating and drinking. Also, not sure if ya’ll noticed but the current trend of styling lingerie out is so hot and one of my favorites! You do this tastefully by basically pairing your favorite lingerie top or bodysuit with a skirt or pants. This is the vibe I went for when styling my white lace bodysuit from Yandy.com. Okay so my when it comes to lingerie or the look of lingerie in a bodysuit, lace it my favorite! Since I knew I wanted to style it with a black leather jacket and skirt, I went with the color white. (also makes you look super tan) If white isn’t your thing, I recommend doing with a darker red or green for the holidays, even all black would be cute! I love this specific bodysuit because it’s a thong, so no underwear lines. I also love that you can adjust the straps, plus it makes me look like I have boobs, hayyy! I’m wearing a medium in this bodysuit and with ‘kelclight20’ you can get this dress for only $16!

I decided to style this bodysuit with a black pencil skirt, black leather jacket, red booties and some fun accessories to make the look really pop. Statement, sparkly diamond earrings and a leopard purse sounded perfect to me!

Another option to styling a bodysuit could be with high-rise skinny jeans (I would do a darker blue denim or black), booties/thigh high boots and a duster cardigan or a leather/fur jacket. Add accessories based on your vibe and personality.
